Women’s Giving Circle Grants – Empowering Through Philanthropy
Eleven organizations serving women and girls in all corners of the CFOV service area have received grants from the Women’s Giving Circle.
The Women’s Giving Circle, an initiative of the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley, seeks to empower through philanthropy by making strategic, researched-based grants supporting projects serving women and girls.
Grants totaling $45,450 were awarded to the following organizations:

| Wheeling Country Day School | Girls with Dreams become Women with Vision | $3,000.00 |
| Wheeling Health Right Inc | FARMacy for Female Patients with Chronic Illness | $5,000.00 |
| WVNCC Foundation | Emergency Assistance for Female Students | $4,000.00 |
| Young Women’s Christian Association of Wheeling, WV | 2nd Chance Empowerment Project | $5,000.00 |
| Youth Services System, Inc. | Providing Help, Hope and Housing to Young Women in Transition | $9,000.00 |
