Wheeling, W.Va.    –The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV) is currently accepting grant applications for the Smith-Goshen Rice Enrichment Fund.  Nonprofit organizations in or serving Belmont County, Ohio are encouraged to apply.

The Smith-Goshen Rice Enrichment Fund (SGREF) was created in 2013 by a group of landowners along with Rice Energy in Belmont County, Ohio.  Grants are made from the SGREF to nonprofit organizations based in or serving Belmont County.  All potential grantees must complete an online grant application.

The Smith-Goshen Rice Enrichment Fund will not fund salaries, fundraising events, scholarships or projects that have already been completed (debt reduction).
