Smith-Goshen Rice Enrichment Fund Awards Grants
The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV) and its affiliate, the Smith-Goshen Rice Enrichment Fund, recently announced grant awards totaling $44,700 to 15 organizations supporting projects in Belmont County.
The Smith-Goshen Rice Enrichment Fund was created in 2013 by a group of landowners and Rice Energy in Belmont County, Ohio to give back to the community. The fund awards annual grants addressing a variety of community needs through a competitive application process.
“The Smith-Goshen Rice Enrichment Fund has made tremendous strides towards philanthropy in Belmont County. We encourage others to learn more about how they can become involved in the giving process by contacting a committee member or CFOV directly,” shared Susie Nelson, executive director of CFOV.
