Harry E. and Olive T. Barth Charitable Trust to Accept Grant Applications
The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV) will soon accept grant applications through an opportunity made possible by the Harry E. and Olive T. Barth Charitable Trust.
The Barth Charitable Trust, administered by Wesbanco Bank, Inc., seeks to make annual grants for use by non-profit organizations in West Virginia with preference, though not exclusively, to those organizations from the City of Sistersville, West Virginia and Tyler County, West Virginia areas that seek program support within stated policy and procedure guidelines. Civic and governmental entities may also be considered.
The 2021 funding cycle for the Barth Charitable Trust will open August 9 and close September 16. There is no specific funding priority and the minimum grant request is recommended to be $5,000.
Since its 2016 inception, the competitive grant component of the Barth Charitable Trust has awarded $635,804 to support projects throughout Sistersville and Tyler County.
Applications will be reviewed by an Advisory Committee, comprised of community stakeholders and trust advisors.
