Chevron Community Fund Awards Grants
Over $30,000 was awarded to six organizations serving Marshall County thanks to Chevron and the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV). The Chevron Community Fund is a strategic grant-making program funded by Chevron and administered by CFOV. The announcement was made during an awards recognition event held at the WVU Extension Office in Moundsville.
Chevron is committed to improving the social and economic well-being of the communities in which they operate.
Lee Ann Wainwright of Chevron stated they are committed to supporting worthwhile projects in Marshall County which align with their funding focus areas of STEM education, workforce development and basic human needs. Chevron’s partnership with CFOV began in 2013. Since then, over $400,000 has been awarded through 66 grants supporting projects in Marshall County.
