COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND GRANT PROGRAM NOW ACCEPTING LETTERS OF INTENT
Wheeling, W.Va. –The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV) is currently accepting letters of intent for grants for the Community Impact Fund, a competitive grant-making program funded through various unrestricted, field of interest and donor-advised funds at the Foundation. This grant program has historically held its acceptance period in the spring and is now accepting in fall.
The Community Impact Fund, one of several grant programs administered at CFOV, continues to strengthen communities and improve the quality of life in the Upper Ohio Valley through assisting local arts programs, building health centers, assisting victims of violence or natural disasters, partnering with educational initiatives, enhancing workforce development programs, and supporting the welfare of animals.
Letters of Intent for the Community Impact Fund grant program will be accepted online through November 2, 2015. Pre-Applications will be reviewed and select organizations will be invited to submit a full application proposal in mid-November. Since 1972, the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley has connected donors who care with causes that matter by making grants to organizations working to improve the quality of life in the Upper Ohio Valley.
